Muhammad Tahir gave talk at Stanford University Stanford

 Muhammad Tahir took stage in a conference organized by the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies at Stanford University on 23 October, 2007, where his speech was mostly centered, about the recent history of Turkmenistan, current political dimensions and possible future developments.   

Audience, who’s majority was made up by academic, scholars and policy makers as well as students, took great interest in the subject, while speech followed by the question- answer session. Muhammad Tahir- is a former fellow at the Hoover Institution- is a journalist, specializing on Central Asian, Afghan, Pakistan and Iranian Affairs, and is currently working on a book project, focused on recent political history of Turkmenistan.
