Muhammad Tahir  will give a talk at Stanford University
Washington:- Muhammad Tahir is expected to appear in a conference that is scheduled for 23 October 2007, by the initiative of Silk Road program of  Stanford University-California.  The subject of talk will be the recent history of Turkmenistan, current political dimensions and possible future developments.
   Scholars, academicians, US think-tank, alongside policy makers and students on relevant subject are among expected audience. Muhammad Tahir is a journalist, and author, currently on a visit to Hoover Institution as a visiting Scholar, and is affiliated with the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
